 SATURDAY - OCTOBER 11TH - 9:30 PM

KEVIN HYFANTIS: Kevin will be bringing his guitar, piano and a band mate to perform an intimate acoustic set.

The debut EP from guitarist Kevin Hyfantis and his Bishop's Band is a brief but thorough introduction to Hyfantis' smooth, R&B-influenced pop-rock. The band-Hyfantis, drummer Shaun Schuetz, and bassist Nate Donegan- is in perfect sync on the five songs, which stretch from the Steely Dan-like title track and the blue-eyed soul ballad "11 Roses" to the funky jam anthem "Caroline." The trio never shies away from demonstrating its chops, but they rely on the strength of Hyfantis' songs and their collective swing to really show off."

 SATURDAY - NOVEMBER 8TH - 9:30PM

THE SHARP AND HARKINS BAND: In front-men and founders Andy Sharp & Ryan Harkins, the SHB has formidable songwriters, guitar players, and vocalists able to deliver elements of rock, folk, and blues into their Indie style; Colin Schaeffer & Justin Barak provide the tight beats and grooves of the heart-pounding rhythm section. Mike “Mouse” Adams, the newest addition to the group, is one of the most talented blues harmonica players in the region.

Drawing from the slide guitar riffs of Ben Harper and John Butler, the Sharp & Harkins Band delivers their innovative rock sound with “an insistent up-tempo back-beat, a funk-influenced bassist, and cool, whispered lyrics,” as proclaimed by the Badger Herald.

As a testament to the quality and creativity of their sound, the band received multiple honors in the 2007 and 2008 Madison Area Music Awards, including Best Unique Song of the Year. The band has also played premiere festivals and venues across the Midwest, including Summerfest, the Mid-American Music Festival, La Crosse Riverfest, Bratfest, and the Southern Comfort Music Experience.

Whether they are rocking Summerfest for a crowd of thousands, the Metro in Chicago for hundreds, or clubs with merely a few dozen patrons, the Sharp & Harkins Band perform their music with energy and vision

THE DISPOSABLES: With exploding guitar riffs and pounding drums that could make even thunder sound like a pin drop. The music of The Disposables comes with a heavy, driving rock sound but retains that feeling you're hearing something straight from the Mississippi Delta. Providing socially conscious lyrics with an old time blues swagger, these two guys will hit you with slap-in-the-face rock that will leave you sore the next day. The Disposables aren't clean and melodic musicians with catchy hooks, they're flamethrowers.
